Gordon Ramsay’s Wife Gives Birth to 6th Child at 49

(NewsSpace.com) – Gordon Ramsay is well-known in the culinary industry for being a spitfire who doesn’t settle for anything less than perfection. He’s constantly screaming at chefs and restaurant owners for failing to meet his standards. However, there’s another side to the famous chef, too: a softer side. Ramsay has a large family, and his demeanor noticeably changes around them, as anyone who follows them on social media can see. Recently, he and his wife welcomed a new addition.

On November 8, Ramsay, 57, and his wife, Tana Ramsay, 49, welcomed their sixth child, a son. The Michelin Star chef shared the news in a heartwarming post on Instagram that shows his wife smiling brightly with the boy nestled on her chest. The baby, named Jesse James Ramsay, was born on the famous chef’s birthday—one he shares with his other daughter Tilly, who turned 22 the same day her brother was born.

Gordon and Tana met in 1992 when Tana was dating one of the chef’s friends. However, the pair ended up together and married in 1996. The couple recently celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary. Initially, the couple had trouble conceiving, but with the help of in-vitro fertilization (IVF), they welcomed three children into the world. Megan was born in 1998. Then Jack and Holly, fraternal twins, followed in 1999. Two years later, Matilda (Tilly) was born without the help of IVF. Sadly, Tana had a miscarriage in 2016, but the pair welcomed their son, Oscar, in 2019. Now, Jesse rounds out the brood, and as Gordon says in his post, “3 boys, 3 girls … Done.”

Jesse’s older siblings were more than happy to snuggle up with the newborn in a series of pictures that have circulated on the family’s social media. Gordon joked about the fact that he’ll be attending sports and school events with a walker in hand and possibly getting some hip replacements by then.
