Immediate Aftermath and Arrest
The victim was hospitalized with serious injuries, including a ruptured lung. During her surgery, it was revealed she was a few weeks pregnant but is now in stable condition. Alvelo was apprehended shortly after and faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, kidnapping, and aggravated assault.
